The Four most important things in my life are God, my wife Lara, my son Ashton and my son Brayden.

Over the next couple weeks we'll be back and forth all over Ohio. This weekend we're shooting a great wedding at Congress Lake, then we'll be at the Alive Festival representing Thirst Relief International and then at the Lakes shooting another great wedding, then on to family vacation at Lakeside. Because nothing means more to me than the four I mentioned above I've been working extra hard lately to get ahead enough to be able to really enjoy our time away. Therefore, I will probably not be updating the blog for a while, we'll see how that goes and I wont be attending to business matters as quickly as normal. So if you find yourself waiting for a reply to e-mail, a returned call, or a meeting just know that your very important to us and we look forward to connecting soon. God bless and may all of you who read this blog be as blessed as I am and more!

Also, I'd love to see who reads this blog and where your from. Please log in and leave a comment!

Jim- My name is Heather Behlendorf and I attend the same church as you. I have never met you, but I hear about you through Dottie Christensen (who is kinda like my photography mentor) and Irene Hammon (I can't remember her new last name), my hair dresser, who is in your small group with her husband Mark. I admire your work greatly and pray that one day my business (Captiva Photography....I just started offically a few months ago) will be at this level. Your work is amazing! Keep up the good work and by the way, your priorities are to be admired as well!

I am from Columbus, Ohio. In fact, I am a regular attender of your home group. You may also know me as "Jah-en" ;)
I feel like I am going through Jim and Lara withdrawl since I haven't gotten to hang with you lately. My bro and I will miss you at our Spanish fiesta we are throwing on Friday. I see where your priorities are...saving people's lives or eating some Spanish grub. Overachievers....haha.Just joking. Have a great weekend. Love ya,
Jocelyn

Now that I have been caught by the Davis Photography bug I am pretty much an avid checker of your website and journal. Chris and I were so blessed by having you do our wedding that we cannot wait for you to capture the rest of our lives. We might just need a few more years for those pregnancy shots. :o)

You all are so generous and kind.

Joe, it was a blast capturing Megan and James, I am excited to edit their pix! And would love to shoot your next two! Also, I look forward to what God has in store with water stuff. Cool connection. Your family is a blast!

Rebecca, the bug huh? So funny, I'll try to keep it fresh. We are gonna do a major update on the wedding pix soon.

Mindy, 4 years. That's crazy. Seems so long ago. Alot has happened since then. Congratulations on the 4 year anniversary!

Hey Jimmy... what keeps you from visiting? I'm living with my brother in his house in Hilliard. I'd like to set up a time soon so that we aren't all about reunions. I believe you are in Columbus. And, as for the Minolta Maxxum 7, I would be interested but, my class is based on digital photography. I'm sure my brother will lend me his 3.1 MegaPixel for when I need it on Monday's and Wednesday's. Currently, it is just a pre-requisite, but I'm veering away from the choice of chemistry as my major. Perhaps, I'll end up in the Visual Communication and Design herd, as it's easy to become part of a flock here at the big Ohio State University. I was living with my ex-girlfriend out in Utah, and unfortunately, our nitpickings and pet peeves didn't coincide. So, I decided to come back to Ohio, where family will always be here for me, right? Let's hang out sometime, grill some steak or veggies, play some poker, grab some coffee, whatever your flavor is that you prefer to savor. I look up to you as a great person, and would like to know you better, especially how your family is, and more on... so? Let's set a date sometime, my email is jjfk@sprintpcs.com and you still have my number?
